smartweave

Advanced screen technology ensures minimal sediment intake to any downstream secondary use.

Filtersafe’s® smartweave™ multi-layered sintered screen is a unique and exclusive weave-wire mesh specifically designed for challenging water conditions.

Whether seawater, brackish water, turbid river water, or industrial wastewater, the smartweave™ screen automatically filters out all particles above the chosen micron rating.

Multi-layered sintered structure smartweave™ is comprised of four stainless steel weave-wire screen layers that create an extra durable, reliable screen. To learn more about our smartweave™ technology, please read our article on how our technology works here.

nozzlex

Patented proximity nozzles for maximum filter efficiency, improved flow rate, and shorter filtering process.

Nozzlex® scans the entire smartweave™ screen removing all matter, disposing of the reject water through the flushing chamber.

The patented nozzles remove 100% of matter that builds upon the screen, working while your filter is in operation and using a fraction of the water other nozzles need to clean.

The most innovative aspect of the Nozzlex® technology is that it has absolutely ZERO wear on the screen, due to the firm but minimal force the nozzle is calculated to have with the screen. BladeX

Enhanced nozzle blades for faster cleaning.

The creation of the OneMotion scanner required a new, innovative upgrade to our patented nozzleX technology. Evolving from the conventional nozzle array into a configuration nozzle blades  strategically positioned around the scanner pole.

With just one rotation, these blades ensure comprehensive coverage, overlapping to effectively reach 100% of the screen’s surface area. This allows OneMotion filters to clean faster, allowing for consistent flow of water through the screen.

OneMotion

Filtration technology that is streamlined for optimum performance.

The need for a streamlined filter (with less moving parts) while enhancing the filter’s cleaning ability lead to the development of this breakthrough technology, available in the Manta filter and filter bodies eligible for OneMotionXL upgrades.

The dual motion helical cleaning pattern of the scanner has been replaced by 100% cleaning of the screen in just one simple rotation. As a result of this movement, OneMotion filters require less footprint and service space, and the screens are cleaned more quickly, ensuring that filtration efficiency and throughput are maintained over time.

EVERCLEAR

EVERCLEAR® produces unparalleled removal rates of organic matter and TSS – allowing for reliable high flows.

Flexibility in Design & Installation

Our filters have the flexibility to be configured in a variety of positions and spatial arrangements.

The vertical filter configuration operates in the exact same manner as a horizontally positioned unit and to the same performance standard, whilst substantially reducing its area footprint.

What is Automatic Self-Cleaning Filtration?

For virtually every application, if you are using a water filter, the screen is going to eventually get clogged. The solution to this problem is a self-cleaning filter. This means the filter at a predetermined interval or set point will clean the screen itself.

Automatic filters are able to clean themselves without outside intervention, such as when the differential pressure inside and outside of the screen reaches a certain level, or at preset time intervals. The benefits of automatic filtration allow the filter to clean itself and prevent clogs without a service person having to be constantly available. This is especially important in remote locations where our filters operate, such as the Australian outback or Siberia, or anywhere where water quality can rapidly change, and the need for reliable automatic filters is of the utmost importance.

Filtersafe offers a wide range of automatic screen filters to provide the perfect solution to any application. Our flagship BallastSafe e-Series offers compact, high-capacity, and multi-screen filters. In addition, we also offer hydraulic and brush automatic self-cleaning filters that work while in operation.

Custom Pressure Vessel Design

Filtersafe offers explosion-proof (EX) and pneumatically operated models. We also have experience in delivering ASME & PED – standard pressure vessels.

turbo and superturbo for High Sediment Loads

All Filtersafe automatic screen filters can be equipped with our unique turbo™ or superturbo™ technologies, which are designed to increase the filter’s capability to operate in high dirt-load situations. This unique feature gives our filters a distinct market advantage in challenging sediment-rich environments.

Filtration Expertise Beyond the Technology

Filtersafe is a leader in automatic self-cleaning filtration because we were founded by filtration engineers, passionate about creating filtration solutions to help the world. The first Filtersafe filters were hand-crafted to protect aquatic ecosystems from the perils of invasive species introduced by ballast water.

Our founder, Etai Dagan, together with his team, created the first water filter created especially to meet the challenges of seawater filtration – long before the International Maritime Organization or other Governmental and NGOs were requiting ballast filters.

The success of our original filters allowed Filtersafe to grow to be an international organization with high-end solutions for Desalination, Industrial, Agricultural, Energy (Oil & Gas), and customized applications.
