Our Technology
How our Brush Filter Cleans While in Operation:
- The wedge-wire or perforated screen traps solids and dirt entering from the raw water inlet
- Sediments and particles are trapped by the filter screen, creating a pressure differential between the inlet and outlet. This initiates the cleaning process.
- The brush rotates along the screen and removes all unwanted particles to the flushing valve.
- While the brush is cleaning the screen, the filter is still operating as normal, with almost no reduction in outlet flow during the cleaning process.
- Once the screen has been fully cleaned, the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet is equalized, the flushing cycle ends and the filter returns to its original state.
